Matt and Erin Hader were married on a rainy day in Houston, TX on June 2nd, 2007. You can read a lot from this picture about the couple. They are an easy-going, young couple that invited a really fun group of friends and family to their wedding day. I'd say the reception was just about perfect.

    The guests arrived, grabbed a drink and began mingling and catching up. You could tell right from the start that this was going to be a spectacular evening. The wedding party arrived and we did a formal introduction of the wedding party (as you can see in this pic)...ending with the bride and groom and their first dance as husband and wife.

    Many of my clients request an acoustic set of music during the dinner portion of their event. I usually play through a list of cover songs that were hand-picked by the bride and groom during the planning phase. There is something about a single voice and an acoustic guitar that sets a really pleasing tone for a wedding reception. The volume level is perfect and the live music is the perfect tapestry for an elegant evening.

    The best man, Eric Wienert, had some very heartfelt and sincere words for Matt and Erin. The toast portion of a wedding reception is definitely one of my favorite parts.

    Erin's father captivated the crowd with his tender words for his daughter and Matt. There is nothing more sacred for a father than to give his daughter away in style on her wedding day.

    Picture perfect reception. Matt and Erin were like this picture all evening...they had a wonderful time and it showed. No stress, no anxiety, no worries. We were very thorough in our preparation for their big day so that they could relax and enjoy the evening.

    I met some new and old friends that evening. I stay very busy during my events...making sure that I'm prepared for every turn that the evening might take. Occasionally, I will get a chance to meet and chat with some great people at my events. My goal is to always execute and try to enjoy myself. When I am having a good time it seems to resonate with everyone around me.

    This is typically where my events end up...and I think this picture pretty much says it all. Not all events are destined for "Dance Party USA"...every event is different and it's important that I listen to the vision of my clients in terms of what they want to see happen on their big day.

    The guests tend to reflect the mood and energy level of the bride and groom at their reception. If the couple is on their feet and having a ball then their guests always rise to the occassion and follow their lead. Erin and Matt are a fun couple and they have really fun friends as well.

    Once again...picture perfect wedding reception. I'll never forget this evening. Matt and Erin's wedding reception was so much fun and so meaningful. Success was achieved by a combination of thorough and creative planning before the event. We planned everything down to the very last detail and I put a lot of effort into making sure that the biggest day of their life was nothing less than perfect.
